Daddy's Little Girl
I love my little girl, even when everything doesn't go as planned. I took her to church in the beautiful dress that my Grandmother bought for her and she did great on her first Sunday....until I tried to take a picture for Grandma. I think it's really cute when her headband falls around her eyes, and it's even cuter that it doesn't upset her. And last but best, she has her fathers hair. When Jeremy wakes up his hair always has some funky wall, it sticks out in the funniest ways. Zaria's hair does the exact same thing! Luckily it's so fine that it will calm down in about 30 minutes so I don't have to wash it everytime she sleeps.
Mommy, Mommy, Mommy

Ok, so this is me at 9 months pregnant. And then my beautiful daughter Zaria the day after she was born. She is currently 4 weeks old (I'm a really slow blogger.) and I love being a mom. There are so many cute things she does, and I know that once people have kids they can talk of nothing else....but let's face it, when you spend 9 months creating something and they take up ALL your time after they're born....you don't have much else to talk about and everything they do makes you proud. So let's see...she giggles and sings in her sleep, she gave me a hug the other day by putting one hand on each side of my neck and then dropping her head on my chest, she sticks out her tongue all the time, she hates being left alone in the room (and believe me, she knows when you run out really fast), she hates being in her carseat because she can't see anyone, and she folds her arms for prayers (accidentally of course). I still have trouble believing that she is really mine. I think it took me about a week to feel like a mom, and sometimes it's still surreal. I feel so bad when she has to cry, especially when it's the quiver lip because she's at the end of her rope or in pain, but I'm so glad I get to stay home with home. I also want to thank those who've contributed for their help and support. I will try to return the favor someday.
