3 Months!

Today Zaria is 3 months old! Her pic is in the blue outfit. This month has been so fun. She has started to play with toys, which I love because I finally get a little break where she can entertain herself. Her favorite toy I didn't get a picture of. It's a yellow duck that rattles, vibrates, and has crinkle wings. Also she talks so much. Her picture with dad is them talking back and forth. Jeremy likes to hide it from me so I picture while I could. They are so cute together. She is getting better at not cry every time she has gas or a bowl movement. Instead she sucks on her thumb! I guess it's a trade-off. I love her so much. She loves it when you make exploding noises and move her hands in a like fashion. She smiles when you sing "Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam", and I think the cutest thing she does is when she's upset. She'll talk to me, but in a little whine and just wants to be held. She does it when she's hungry, has messy pants, or is in pain. I love that wants to talk to me. I hope it never changes.

2 Months

Zaria was blessed 3 days before she was 2 months old so I'm using this pic as her 2 month. All of Jeremy's family was there and so we used the opportunity to take a family picture. We also took one of my side but many are missing. I made the blessing dress. It's not perfect but I think she pulled it off nicely. She slept most of the drive and handled the trip well I thought. She started smiling and talking and at her doctor's appointment she was 24" long and 12lbs 6oz. She is getting so big! I felt terrible when she got her shots. She screamed really hard twice and then whined for a few minutes as she fell asleep. I wish I could have done more than just comfort her.

Daddy's Little Girl

I love my little girl, even when everything doesn't go as planned. I took her to church in the beautiful dress that my Grandmother bought for her and she did great on her first Sunday....until I tried to take a picture for Grandma. I think it's really cute when her headband falls around her eyes, and it's even cuter that it doesn't upset her. And last but best, she has her fathers hair. When Jeremy wakes up his hair always has some funky wall, it sticks out in the funniest ways. Zaria's hair does the exact same thing! Luckily it's so fine that it will calm down in about 30 minutes so I don't have to wash it everytime she sleeps.

Mommy, Mommy, Mommy

Ok, so this is me at 9 months pregnant. And then my beautiful daughter Zaria the day after she was born. She is currently 4 weeks old (I'm a really slow blogger.) and I love being a mom. There are so many cute things she does, and I know that once people have kids they can talk of nothing else....but let's face it, when you spend 9 months creating something and they take up ALL your time after they're born....you don't have much else to talk about and everything they do makes you proud. So let's see...she giggles and sings in her sleep, she gave me a hug the other day by putting one hand on each side of my neck and then dropping her head on my chest, she sticks out her tongue all the time, she hates being left alone in the room (and believe me, she knows when you run out really fast), she hates being in her carseat because she can't see anyone, and she folds her arms for prayers (accidentally of course). I still have trouble believing that she is really mine. I think it took me about a week to feel like a mom, and sometimes it's still surreal. I feel so bad when she has to cry, especially when it's the quiver lip because she's at the end of her rope or in pain, but I'm so glad I get to stay home with home. I also want to thank those who've contributed for their help and support. I will try to return the favor someday.

Graduation

I did it! I finally, after 11 years, have my bachelor's degree. My family and Jeremy's family came out from Nevada to support me. We had a very nice family BBQ at the park before the ceremony. It was so nice to see everyone and the food was great! Thanks to everyone for their help and support.

Baby, baby, baby

Ok So I've been out of it for quite a while. I found out in November that I was pregnant and then got really sick. I have struggled to stay afloat since then just trying to pass my classes and get ready to graduate. These are some getting ready for baby picks. Jeremy's Mom helped me make some really cute blankets for Zaria (the baby is a girl) and then my recent baby shower was filled with family, and friends who have been so wonderful and generous.
